The idea I have is to help incorporate labor work jobs in their lives. I would like to use the grant money to have a resume workshop, where food and drinks will be there. I would make it a network event where other companies are there looking for people they can use in their lives. Before this network event, I would help refugees and make a resume and try and find clothes for them to wear to interview. This would help them make their way into the world and help find a starting position for a job.

I think this is a winning idea because it invites other members of the community to come out and offer their specific experiences and knowledge on career writing and opportunities.
What appeals to me most about working on this project is that as college students we too are constantly writing resumes so we offer the freshest perspective for entering the workforce.
I role I would like to play in this group as the initiator and offer other ideas aside from resume writing when talking about career opportunities.
I think that this could be the winning idea because it is key and a great start for refugees to have a proper resume with the proper clothing in order to attain a job. By bringing these people in to help will definitely benefit the refugees. The part that intrigues me the most about this project is helping to prep the refugees for a potential future and get them ready for job interviews. For this project I think that I would want to be the financial officer to be able to budget the food prices and clothing/workshop spending.
I think that this is a winning idea because this helps them in a real life situation, and one that they can utilize everyday moving forward. The most appealing thing about this is that it will be helping refugees for a better future. I think I could help this team out by being in charge of the budget as Financial Officer, as i am really good at numbers and figuring out the best options for a budget.
I think this is a great idea. It allows the participants to gain potential life changing advice and service.
I believe this is a winning idea because it helps those who are in need of a better future be able to get the support they need. The most appealing thing about working on this project is that it makes the American dream possible for these people. I believe that I can help with the financial part of this project. I have experience with using excel and making budget sheets, I will make sure we are using the money appropriately and we do not go overbudget.
