The World Of Astronomy VR

My audience will experience a different type of Virtual Reality, through the outer space to learn about astronomy. The things that will be taught and seen is the history or astronomy, being “is the study of the sun, moon, stars, planets, comets, gas, galaxies, gas, dust and other non-Earthly bodies and phenomena.” (Redd Space.com) Through the Virtual Reality you will be about to travel up to space, and see how some planets, stars, and etc. move, grow, change, and evolve over time. You would able to see the different views of the outer space through the either Theoretical or Observational views. (Redd Space.com) The theoretical view is seeing how the systems evolved, and study them from the beginning to the death for worlds, stars, and galaxies. Through the observational study, it will be direct focus on the stars, planets, and galaxies looking at them just through eye in VR trying to find the difference between them over time. Theoretical and Observational are a line of work that is involved in the future with making simulations over time with VR. This could be a good experience for people to see something in their life that they could never see. Traveling to space only happens for certain people and science and technology isn’t strong enough to have trips for the normal civilian. The world of space could continue for billions and billions of light years. There are always rumors of extra-terrestrial life out in space, and something that people could encounter through Virtual Reality. An example could be the newly found “Super Earth” (Folley aol.com) that is rumored to have some form of life on it. I personally seem to think and wonder what could be out there in space, and not even having a clue about what it could be. There are days where i will just look up at the stars and wondering if it is a planet or not. Some times there are days throughout the years we are able to see some planets from earth but just imagine what it would look like right in front of your face. The world of Virtual Reality can help explain great questions for any situation, but could definitely help the eye of Astronomy to the regular human so they can see what it’s like.

  1. I was excited to see that I get to explore space without having to become an astronaut. One thing that you might want to consider adding is some information about earth also and not just the other planet. One addition thing you might want to add is some statistics about the planets and solar system like how they came about and why it is not possible to live on another planet beside earth.

  2. 1) I like this idea because it would teach people a lot about space and why things are the way they are. People would definitely have abetter understanding of all of the planets and stars.
    2) I think this app would have everything can possibly be seen
    3) Evidence on certain planets maybe?

  3. 1. The idea excited me because it isn’t on the real world ground it is in space.
    2. I could see more pictures of things the person would really experience.
    3. Additional evidence that the audience need is research if anyone already went to space and see if they have any pictures or anything advice for anyone.

  4. 1. I like this idea because I think a decent amount of people are interested in space and all the unknowns out there.
    2. I think more explanation on how this would happen could be beneificial
    3. More evidence about what exactly we are looking for.

  5. 1. It seems like a cool simulation because you can experience what it’s like in outer space.
    2. I want to know how you travel through space such as rocket or float through space.
    3. How would you set up the simulation?

  6. I am not a big person on space but i feel like this is pretty cool that you can go up there and see for yourself what people have to go through years of training to see.

What is going to be your interaction piece? are people just going to walk around up there?

More information about space and the plants you are going to incorporate.

    1. 1. I never really was too enthused about astronomy but after seeing and hearing this pitch it would definitely make me reconsider my past notions.
      2. How will your stimulation function? Is it a ride?
      3. More evidence on what else you will be exploring……………………..

  7. This is an interesting idea, but a bit hard to read. There are already many VR apps set in outer space, so you need to distinguish yours. The idea of exploring extraterrestrial life may be compelling, but very difficult to achieve. Your pitch would benefit from revision and reorganization. Be careful with your sentence structure and verb tense.
