This exercise made me realize that more goes into editing for digital publishing than I initially thought. Prior to this assignment, I did not realize that each article that is being published digitally has its own style sheet that is used when editing the publication. I found the checklist and details of each section helpful for finding the changes that need to be made to the publication to ensure the style is consistent. I can see how having a style sheet to follow would be especially beneficial when having multiple writers/editors looking at a publication. The process of applying the style sheet to the publication was very time consuming because of the detailed instructions that needed to be followed.
